GTA Realtors Report | Mid-June Resale Housing Figures

June 16, 2010 - Greater Toronto realtors reported 4,139 sales during the first two weeks of June 2010. This represented a 20% decrease compared to the 5,185 sales recorded during the same period last year. The sellers market experienced in the beginning of the year has become much more balanced. MAY SALES REMAIN HIGH

June 3, 2010 -- Greater Toronto REALTORS® reported 9,478 sales through the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in May, representing a one per cent dip compared to May 2009. The pace of transactions has slowed in May following record-setting sales in February, March, and April. Buyers who otherwise would have been puchasing a home in May moved much quicker this year, likely to get ahead of mortgage rate hikes. New listings were up 38%....click here for full report
